Ten Black Dots - Numeration
I always love to read the book Ten Black Dots as many of you probably do! These are a few of my students' original creations this year. :)

Our Social Contract
The beginning of school brings the writing of a new social contract. In the words of my first graders (I love this one) ..."Be nice no matter what!" Cute huh! Pretty much covers it I think. My first graders did the writing, and we left plenty of room at the bottom to add more if someone wants to. We revisit this many times a day, and my students have begun to quote from the contract when dealing with each other. It's refreshing to hear six year olds reminding each other of what we all agreed on.
More Shelves...So Cute!
My assistant principal painted this adorable shelf, passed it along to my friend Steph, who moved and passed it along to me. Isn't it so cute over my student stations! I just love it! :)
